Project 4: Power Rangers on Crack
So here it is, the final project. Pretty much I edited audio, video, screen shots and made a crazy video out of it. I dont have a good camera, or camcorder either and for some reason TCNJ doesnt let me borrow anything so I took everything I learned over the sememster and made a music video. The video is an episode of Power Rangers, with a twist. The audio was found online since im not quite a composer, however all the video editing was me, and I defineatly changed the audio to incorporate sounds, different beats... etc. This was an awesome project, and and awesome class, Ive learned so much.
Project 3: Imagine
So this video is an animation that I day dreamt... I drew every slide individually so it proved to be very time consuming, but very fun. I left it black and white because I decided thats usually how I dream... I guess. I think I couldve added more slides and actually made it the entire song, but it wouldve taken forever.
Pretty much the moral of the story is the world is going to end if we dont take care of it and live in peace... The universe is something we cant even comprehend, and last but not least, ancient civilizations (the pyrmaids, egyptians) know things about the past that either A: we dont agree with or B: just havnt found yet. I know, im a wack job.
Project 2 "Rocky Time Travel"
This video is a look into how by using YouTube, a 31 year time span (Rocky came out in 1976, Rocky Balboa was just released in 2007) can be easily viewed in 5 minutes and change... By doing this you can easily examine and analyze works of art past to present and see the progress (or lack there of) that was made.
In this case you can see the similarities in all the movies and notice that nothing really has changed... I love Rocky, but it was drawn out of 6 movies with pretty much the same plot, and same ending.
Project 1 "The Showdown"
This was my first project based off of a bunch of pictures I took. I added and manipulated the audio to give it somewhat of a western feel. I had a lot of fun learning how to use Final Cut, and I think overall this first project came out good.
Critiquing myself, I couldve probably changed the glow to the pictures, but I dont know, I kindve like the feel it gives. Also there are a few parts that seem unclear to me, so I can just imagine what someone watching is thinking.

project proposal
so, I think I want to base my final project mostly off of animation. I want to incorporate taken photos into the animations I draw. Obviously I need to add video in there somewhere so Im still trying to figure out what exactly to do. Because track is such a big part of my life right now and it consumes my thoughts every minute even in my dreams, and because my coach is such a character, I think I want to do something that has to do with that. I havnt really decided what I wanted to make exactly, but something that has to do with training all month (obviously excellerated) dealing with workouts, diet, sleep, time managment etc. leading up to the final race. this Idea is still very broad but Im still in the process of thinking about it. As my schedual clears up hopefully Ill have a better understanding of what I'd like to do. Hope youre having an amazing time in South America Anita, see you when you get back.

2 questions that were critqued about my work...
Frame Rate & Also the non use of colors
With respect to frame rate and non colors I have to argue the fact that it already took forever to do and scan the drawings. I liked the pencil feel that was shown in the video during class so I really wanted to stick to that... I def will be adding more images so I can increase the frame rate and make the images smoother, but I guess I enjoyed the fact taht people could appreciate my drawings with the slow frames. Also I would love to be able to add color however I think it would take away the somber mood of my work.... To critique myself I think that I need to edit the audio a little better as well and make it flow more. Im honestly really excited to start working on this again, just have to get the Marketing presentation, calc exam, track meet and wrestling tournament out of the way first... Hope you enjoy argentina Anita.
